About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol with Active Clearance in Fort Worth, Texas, you will serve and safeguard clients at an aerospace and defense location. You will conduct armed patrols, maintain a visible security presence, support access control, respond to security concerns, and provide customer service and communication while demonstrating teamwork and integrity.

This is a full-time position scheduled Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The pay rate is $27.32 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• At least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Texas Level III Armed Certification.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements applicable under state and/or local laws and regulations, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and assist with visitor and contractor entry procedures according to site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, and document observations and actions taken.
• Maintain required armed-post equipment and perform duties in compliance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, and company policies.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
