About The Position

Security Management is seeking a professional Armed Security Officer to protect the safety of people and property at assigned facilities. Officers serve as a visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions, and detect and report suspicious, unsafe, or criminal activity. The position pays $17.00–$18.00 per hour, depending on experience. An active Armed SLED card is preferred. Officers provide security services, report concerns and unusual circumstances verbally and in writing, maintain effective relationships with client employees and guests, answer questions, and greet or assist people professionally. This is a part-time, first-shift position.

Requirements

U.S. citizenship.
Fluent English.
At least 21 years of age.
High school diploma or GED.
If former military, an honorable discharge as reflected on the DD 214.
Ability to pass a criminal-record background check.
Ability to pass a 13-panel drug test.
Valid driver's license.
Provide a current three-year driving record.
Reliable transportation.
Strong attention to detail while on duty.
Ability to adapt to varied environments, including changing outdoor conditions such as cold, rain, or heat.
