About The Position

Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Armed Security Officer for State Site in Watertown MA. This role involves serving and safeguarding clients in various industries, including Government. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
1+ Years of Previous Related Experience

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and/or critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with supervisors, site contacts, and/or public responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned facilities, roadways, structures, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions, policy violations, and/or potential security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and high-traffic public spaces, helping to verify authorized access, observe activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance issues.
Support emergency and incident response efforts by following post orders, preserving scene integrity when needed, preparing reports, and assisting with traffic, crowd, and/or access control during planned and unplanned events.
