About The Position

As an Armed Security Officer Patrol Response in Odessa, Texas, you will serve and safeguard clients across a range of industries. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, provide professional customer service, and respond to situations with integrity and sound judgment. This is a full-time position scheduled Monday through Friday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, paying $25.00 per hour.

Requirements

Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
As a condition of employment, applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience.
A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license.
Access control and badge experience.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the business and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security concerns.
Remain aware of surroundings, report unusual activity or hazards, and document incidents according to site-specific procedures.
Follow applicable laws, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal policies related to armed assignments and equipment.
