As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response in Tucson, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to situations as needed, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Pepper spray certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a government services location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and public emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, parking locations, building perimeters, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry, following site-specific visitor-management and credential procedures.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrol activities, and other security-related events in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
