As a Armed Security Officer Patrol Response in Adelanto, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, help to deter incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related concerns. Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Have at least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess a California weapons permit with a 9mm caliber endorsement.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, access-control activities, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following applicable procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, screen authorized visitors as directed, and document security-related incidents, observations, and patrol activity.
• Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment and perform duties in accordance with Allied Universal policies, client requirements, and applicable laws.
