Requirements

Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and local responders when needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor logs, and report policy violations, equipment issues, and other security-related concerns to site leadership.
Maintain a visible presence while following post orders, handling security-related incidents involving restricted areas or valuable materials, and completing accurate reports before, during, and after each shift.
