As a Security Officer Patrol Responder in Rochester, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Requirements

A New York State Security Guard License is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities within a defense and aerospace location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify and report security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help support authorized access for employees, visitors, and contractors according to site policies.
Assist with reporting hazards, facility issues, and/or suspicious behavior, and follow post orders related to sensitive operations, property, and information handling.
