About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Responder in Lakeland, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a fast-paced technology location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and help to support timely communication with site contacts and/or first responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed by site policy, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or daily activities in required reports.
• Support site operations by addressing questions, reporting maintenance and/or property issues to appropriate personnel, and following post orders for assigned patrol responsibilities.
