About The Position

As an Armed Security Officer in San Antonio, Texas, you will serve and safeguard clients at a retail location. You will conduct armed patrols of the retail location and surrounding areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide customer service and communication. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver’s license and Texas Level III Armed Certification. The position is full-time and pays $15.50 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday through Thursday, 3:15 PM to 11:30 PM.

Applicants must be at least 21 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and participate in industry-specific security training. Employment is conditioned on a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements may apply before employment, depending on state and local laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
• Texas Level III Armed Certification.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Participation in industry-specific security training programs.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Applicable state and/or local licensing requirements may need to be met before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to store team members, customers, vendors, and visitors while following site-specific procedures and carrying out emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations, follow established protocols, and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations to site leadership and/or law enforcement as directed.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with company and site procedures.
