About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Armed Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania, supporting a military- and veterans-focused location. The officer conducts armed mobile patrols, maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, responds to concerns, and provides professional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and Pennsylvania Act 235 qualification. The stated schedule is Monday and Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The pay rate is $24.53 per hour. Applicants must meet the stated age, education, licensing, and qualification requirements. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen. The role includes participation in industry-specific security training. Requirements
- Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; a valid license is required for driving positions.
- At least one year with a clean driving record, as stated in the position details.
- Pennsylvania Act 235 qualification.
- At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Successful completion of a background investigation, subject to applicable laws.
- Drug screen, to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the business and perimeter.
