As a Security Guard Armed - DoD Security Clearance Required in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Requirements

  • Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a Level III Armed Guard Card in Texas.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of aerospace and defense facility grounds, buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and activities according to site procedures.
  • Monitor access control points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
  • Carry assigned equipment in compliance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures.
