Requirements

Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a Level III Armed Guard Card in Texas.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, controlled-access areas, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and verify credentials, authorizations, and visitor requirements in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
Maintain readiness and responsible control of assigned equipment, complete required reports, and communicate observations and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
