Requirements

• Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Level III Armed Guard Card is required in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, restricted areas, and perimeter boundaries to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, authorizations, and entry requirements for employees, visitors, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and coordinate with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and activity logs regarding patrols, incidents, access concerns, and other security-related observations.
