Requirements

  • Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
  • Possess an Active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, restricted areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access to controlled areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, access-control issues, and policy violations according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and public responders when needed.
  • Prepare clear and accurate reports, maintain required documentation, and communicate security-related observations and shift information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
