About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring an Armed Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients in industries including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. The role involves providing customer service while following safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, responding calmly to incidents, and conducting regular and random patrols of the business and its perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. The position pays $24.00 per hour. An active CPL is required for consideration.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
Must have an active CPL.
Must participate in industry-specific security and safety training programs.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and performing emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
