About The Position
Advanced Professional Security is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, employees, and assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to maintaining a secure environment and providing exceptional service.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of armed security experience or military/law enforcement experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Physically fit and capable of performing security duties.
Nice To Haves
- additional education in criminal justice or related field preferred.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect security breaches.
- Respond to alarms and emergency situations promptly and effectively.
- Enforce company policies and security procedures to maintain a safe environment.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and logs of daily activities.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.
- Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities.
- Provide exceptional customer service to employees and visitors.
