About The Position

GardaWorld is hiring an Armed Driver/Messenger to safely and efficiently transport valuables. The role involves interacting professionally with customers, developing rapport, and issuing and receiving confirmation receipts to verify transfers. Employees must follow high standards of driver safety in all weather conditions and remain vigilant for the safety and security of customers, colleagues, and the community. All positions are armed, so employees must have and maintain the licenses required for their area. The schedule is Monday through Saturday, with a start time between 6:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m., depending on the schedule. The hourly pay range is $19.00–$21.00, based on qualifications and experience. This is a full-time position. The role requires heavy lifting and operating large vehicles in varying weather and traffic conditions.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Have a valid and clean driver's license.
Have, or be able to obtain and maintain, active guard and firearm permits or licenses as required by state regulations.
Have strong customer-service skills.
Communicate effectively in person and by radio.
Be willing to operate large vehicles in all weather and traffic conditions.
Be able to perform heavy lifting of 50 pounds or more.
Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and interacting with customers.
