About The Position

Ameritex Guard Services is hiring a full-time Armed Bank Security Officer for an on-site, single-location position. The posted schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The role involves patrolling and securing bank premises, monitoring surveillance cameras, investigating suspicious activity, responding to alarms, assisting people in need, and documenting daily activity and significant events. Applicants must be able to start immediately and provide professional, customer-focused service.

Requirements

Must have a desire to learn and provide great customer service to clients.
Must have a clean background with no felonies and be able to obtain a security license through Texas D.P.S.
Must have reliable transportation and own a vehicle.
Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
Must be able to write legible reports.
Must be reliable, punctual, and have high integrity.
Must have two valid forms of identification, such as a driver's license or state ID and a Social Security card or birth certificate.
Must have a Level II Guard License.
Must be able to start immediately.
Must maintain a neat, professional appearance and demeanor.
Must be able to stand for 7–8 hours.
Must be capable of handling assigned daily tasks efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to work indoors and outdoors when needed.
Must arrive at the interview in business-casual attire.
High school or equivalent education required.
At least one year of customer service experience required.
Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.

Nice To Haves

Previous security experience; one year of security experience preferred.
Military or law enforcement background.
Guard Card preferred.

Responsibilities

Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a presence.
Secure exits, doors, and windows after operations end.
Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts.
Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions.
Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation.
Provide assistance to people in need.
Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences.
