About The Position

This role is responsible for building positive team member relations, participating in departmental meetings, and ensuring high-quality service. The instructor will create and deliver comprehensive training programs for table games, supervise trainees, and educate them on gaming regulations, responsible gaming, anti-money laundering, and player protection protocols. The position also involves tracking trainee attendance and performance, assisting with recruitment, monitoring new and existing dealers, and providing administrative support to Casino Operations. The instructor reports to the Director of Casino Operations and/or Table Games Manager and is responsible for creating training syllabi and manuals. They will also communicate pertinent information and safety concerns to senior leadership and perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Build positive team member relations.
  • Participate and conduct departmental meetings as necessary.
  • Ensure consistent high-quality service to all team members and guests.
  • Create and deliver comprehensive training programs covering all aspects of table games.
  • Supervise trainees at practice tables, providing feedback on their dealing skills, game management, and adherence to casino policies.
  • Educate trainees on all applicable gaming regulations, including responsible gaming practices, anti-money laundering procedures, and player protection protocol.
  • Ensure training programs are in accordance with the Internal Controls.
  • Work in coordination with the Director of Casino Operations and Casino Shift managers to evaluate and revise current Internal Controls.
  • Responsible for all attendance and performance tracking for Dealer Trainees.
  • Assist and participate in Job Fairs, recruiting, the interview process and new hire orientation.
  • Monitor new and existing dealers in the pit to ensure proper dealing procedures are being followed. Provide retraining as necessary and needed.
  • Provide administrative support to Casino Operations.
  • Create a thorough, comprehensive syllabus for each table game.
  • Create a thorough, comprehensive training manual that includes sequential training lessons to be taught.
  • Communicate and report pertinent information and safety concerns in a timely manner to senior leadership.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
