About The Position

SkyOS is a modular operating system built to simplify complex operations for real-world industries—from contractors to suppliers to service pros. We're looking for an Area Sales Manager to own a local territory, build relationships with contractors and suppliers, and drive new customer growth for our platform. This is a hands-on, field-based sales role for someone who wants to build a market from the ground up and become the go-to person in their region. You'll spend most of your time in the field meeting customers face to face, and you'll have real ownership over how you grow your territory.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a quota-carrying, field or outside sales role (construction, building materials, fintech, or payments experience is a plus, not required).
  • Someone who's comfortable being the face of the company in their territory and genuinely enjoys being out meeting people.
  • Strong organizational habits. You keep your pipeline clean and follow through without being chased.
  • A self-starter who wants ownership over their market and is motivated by building something, not just following a script.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, pursue, and close new business within your assigned territory, focused on small to mid-size construction, roofing, lumber, and building materials companies.
  • Build relationships with the people who actually make buying decisions, owners, finance leads, and operators, not just a single point of contact.
  • Run the full sales cycle: meetings, product demos, proposals, and onboarding, through to a live, active customer.
  • Keep your pipeline accurate and up to date in our CRM so leadership has visibility into what's moving.
  • Show up in your local market: industry events, associations, and in-person visits that build your reputation as the trusted local expert.
  • Work closely with sales leadership and cross-functional teams (onboarding, support, product) to keep deals moving and customers happy.
  • Represent Fractal at trade shows and industry events as needed, with travel coordinated through our sales enablement team.
