About The Position

Acima is a dynamic leasing company providing consumer payment options for life necessities through lease-to-own programs. We combine innovative online technology with a fast application process for retailers nationwide. The Area Sales Manager will focus on selling Acima services to retailers, driving sales to achieve revenue and profitability growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in achieving growth objectives, a strong background in selling solutions to retailers, and experience navigating various departments to present to key decision-makers.

Requirements

  • Must be currently located in the Metro area of this position (Atlanta, GA).
  • 2 or more years of experience in business-to-business sales (B2B sales), enterprise account management, business development, or outside sales.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Effective listening skills.
  • Ability to present and teach small groups.
  • Proven time management skills.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and demonstrated customer service skills.
  • Proactive approach to problem solving with the ability to influence positive outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Call on and present to new prospects, visiting an average of 11+ stores per weekday.
  • Follow up on enrolled merchants to offer support on specific lease applications or questions.
  • Manage assigned merchants using Salesforce CRM.
  • Manage pipeline to help the region hit growth goals.
  • Support underwriting and inside sales departments when issues arise with specific leases and throughout the sales cycle.
  • Train merchants on the program and the online portal, including onboarding and training their management and sales teams.
  • Answer general questions about Acima’s processes.
  • Manage merchant pipelines and provide ongoing training and support.
  • Generate new leases from personally enrolled merchants.
  • Manage the distribution and implementation of marketing and point-of-sale program materials.
