About The Position
Versatex, a James Hardie company, is seeking an Area Sales Manager to lead sales growth across the Carolinas territory. This is a high-impact, field-based sales role responsible for developing relationships with dealers, distributors, builders, remodelers, architects, and contractors while expanding market share for our premium trim and siding products.
Requirements
- 3+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in building products, construction, or related industries.
- Strong consultative selling, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a large geographic territory.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the Carolinas, including overnight travel as needed.

- Bachelor's degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Grow sales and market presence throughout North and South Carolina.
- Build strong relationships with distributors, dealers, builders, architects, remodelers, and contractors.
- Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and customer events.
- Generate and convert new business opportunities while expanding existing accounts.
- Partner with distributor and dealer teams to drive demand and increase product adoption.
- Represent Versatex at industry events and trade shows.
