About The Position

N C Power Systems is seeking an Area Sales Manager to join their leadership team at the Anchorage, Alaska branch. This role will lead a group of employees and oversee the N C Power Systems territory for revenue growth, P&L, customer satisfaction, and personnel responsibilities. The position involves formulating business plans, managing budgets, identifying new business opportunities, and managing business operations in alignment with company objectives. The Area Sales Manager will lead a team of Sales Representatives and support staff to ensure success.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years’ experience is preferred or the equivalent of undergraduate school in business administration preferred and 5 years’ experience in sales accomplishments.
  • Required to travel up to 15% a year to locations that include greater Alaska and Seattle, Washington.
  • Position requires keen presentation skills with the ability to articulate data analysis to a diverse audience.
  • Ability to work on Microsoft Office products essential.
  • Represent the company with a high degree of professionalism while practicing the Company Values.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience at Caterpillar, Cummins or MTU is a plus.
  • College degree in business administration or related discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively lead our N C Power Systems Sales teams at our Anchorage, Alaska branch.
  • Oversee N C Power Systems territory for revenue growth, P&L, customer satisfaction and personnel responsibilities.
  • Formulate business plans, programs, manage budgets for assigned region.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Manage potential product challenges and develop appropriate solutions.
  • Manage the business operations and area performance in alignment with Company objectives through continuous evaluation of statistical reports.
  • Effectively lead a team of Sales Representatives and support staff at our Anchorage branch to ensure success.
