About The Position

IMA Ilapak produces a wide range of flexible packaging solutions, having satisfied every form, fill and seal packaging requirement of the food, pharma, medical devices, and wet wipes industries. The North American branch, IMA Ilapak Inc., provides aftermarket support to all customers in the region, as well as developing sales with new customers and providing support to existing ones. This role is based in Newtown, PA.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent technical background.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience in the industrial B2B sector, specifically with customized products.
  • Availability for frequent domestic travel (approx. 50%) and occasional international trips.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferable background in the automatic machinery sector (Packaging/Oiling/Assembly).
  • Technical knowledge of vision and counting systems for feeding flowpack systems.
  • Proven experience in the sale of turnkey solutions.
  • Solid understanding of commercial contracts and legal-commercial terms.

Responsibilities

  • Planning sales actions to expand the portfolio and retain existing customers.
  • Conducting sales visits and on-site meetings.
  • Proposing catalogue solutions tailored to the customer’s needs.
  • Interpreting customer requirements and identifying alternative sales proposals within technical constraints.
  • Managing economic aspects and commercial negotiations.
  • Developing customized solutions (supported by technical teams) to be articulated in formal commercial offers.
  • Building and maintaining customer relationships through both commercial interactions and courtesy visits.
  • Coordinating and managing the activities of resellers and agents within the assigned territory.
