About The Position

Flowers Bakeries is hiring an Area Sales Director to support direct store delivery (DSD) sales and Independent Distributors (IDs). The role supports IDs in managing customer relationships, conducting sales activities, growing their customer bases, pursuing new market selling opportunities, and tracking sales data. The Area Sales Director builds and maintains relationships with key accounts to help ensure promotion and display execution in the market, and uses digital tools to demonstrate execution wins and identify opportunities for continued growth. The Area Sales Director works with a Market Vice President and the Sales Enablement team to analyze market and territory opportunities, maximize sales, and adjust sales strategies using consumer insights.

Requirements

Five years of relevant experience in general management or sales.
Experience as a sales representative, distributor, or in another sales position.
Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT Medical Card.
Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
Must be at least 21 years of age.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Sales or Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
