Area Operations Manager

Community Concierge Services•Goodlettsville, TN

About The Position

Community Concierge Services (CCS) is seeking a hands-on Area Operations Manager to lead employees, service quality, and client relationships across an assigned district. CCS provides doorstep waste and recycling collection for apartment communities nationwide and has more than 700 employees serving over 175,000 apartment homes each night. This role offers broader responsibility across multiple communities in a growing, founder-led company. The position combines evening field leadership with daytime recruiting, administrative work, and client communication. Peak operating hours are 6 p.m. to midnight, and evening and weekend availability is essential because service runs seven days a week. The manager travels regularly between properties and markets to support employees, inspect service, and resolve issues; travel to neighboring areas may also be required. The manager arranges coverage for call-offs and no-shows and personally covers routes when other coverage options are exhausted. Daytime flexibility depends on completing responsibilities and operational needs, and service or staffing issues may require work beyond typical operating hours. This is a full-time commitment and cannot be performed alongside another full-time job. The fieldwork is physical and includes extended walking, repeated stair climbing, carrying bagged trash, and working outdoors. The manager must be able to meet the travel, schedule, and physical requirements, with reasonable accommodation where applicable. The hiring process includes an onsite work preview to show candidates the service environment, physical demands, schedule, and day-to-day responsibilities. Compensation is a $70,000 annual base salary, paid biweekly, plus an opportunity for a $5,000 annual performance-based bonus paid quarterly. A company vehicle is provided for work-related use, with fuel and maintenance covered. Company-sponsored health insurance is available for the employee and family, and a 401(k) match is offered after 12 months. The role also offers flexibility in organizing daytime work around completed responsibilities and operational needs, as well as opportunities for increased responsibility and advancement as CCS expands.
