About The Position

Community Concierge Services (CCS) provides doorstep waste and recycling collection for apartment communities. The Area Operations Manager leads people, service quality, and client relationships across an assigned district. This is a hands-on role managing operations across multiple communities, with evening field leadership and daytime recruiting, administration, and client communication. The position is based in Charlotte, North Carolina, and involves regular travel between properties and markets; travel to neighboring areas may also be required. Peak operating hours are 6 p.m. to midnight, and evening and weekend availability is essential because service operates seven days a week. The manager arranges coverage for employee call-offs and no-shows and personally covers routes when other coverage options are exhausted. Fieldwork includes extended walking, repeated stair climbing, carrying bagged trash, and working outdoors. Daytime work is flexible around completed responsibilities and operational needs, but recruiting, payroll, client communication, and team support require daytime attention. Staffing or service issues may require work beyond typical operating hours. The role requires a full-time commitment and cannot be performed alongside another full-time job. Compensation is a $65,000 annual base salary, paid biweekly, plus an annual performance-based bonus opportunity of up to $10,000, paid quarterly based on performance. A company vehicle is provided for work-related use, with fuel and maintenance covered. Company-sponsored health insurance is available for the employee and family, and a 401(k) match is offered after 12 months. The company describes opportunities for increased responsibility and advancement as it expands. The hiring process includes an onsite work preview to demonstrate the service environment, physical demands, schedule, and day-to-day responsibilities.
