About The Position

Aeon is seeking an experienced property management leader to oversee three permanent supportive housing communities: Exodus, Alliance, and OHP (The Lamoreaux, The Lamoreaux Expansion, The Continental, and The Coyle). The Area Manager will take a hands-on role in opening and managing Exodus, a new 72-home community in downtown Minneapolis, while leading and developing the Property Managers at Alliance and OHP. Approximately 80% of the role focuses on Exodus and 20% on Alliance and OHP. The Area Manager is responsible for property operations, financial performance, affordable housing compliance, property condition, resident experience, and team leadership. The position builds relationships with residents, supportive service providers, referral partners, and community partners to foster safe, stable, and welcoming communities that support long-term housing stability. The Area Manager reports directly to the Portfolio Director. This is a full-time, in-person position with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with flexibility to meet property, resident, and team needs. Before Exodus opens, the position will be based at Mary Hall in downtown St. Paul while preparing for the opening. Afterward, it will be based primarily onsite at Exodus in downtown Minneapolis. Regular visits to Alliance and OHP and occasional travel to Aeon’s Central Office, training facilities, or other properties are required. The position participates in the property management on-call rotation, typically one week every five to six weeks, and must make timely management decisions in response to urgent needs or emergencies.
