Cleantec, a Central New York based facilities services company, seeks an exceptional Area Manager for Janitorial and Facility Services in the Rochester area. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing operations and leading teams. Requirements

  • Associate's degree in business or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ Years of operations and team management experience.
  • Experience supervising, mentoring, training, and developing employees and teams.
  • Knowledge of safety and risk management principles and practices.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other business/project management software.
  • Current and valid driver’s license with access to a personal vehicle.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must consent to a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day facility operations and project management while ensuring compliance with company operational standards.
  • Oversee training, cost control, quality, safety, scheduling, capacity planning, and on-time service delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring customer requirements and needs are consistently met.
  • Oversee recruitment, training, onboarding, and ongoing professional development of supervisors and frontline staff.
  • Build and develop a strong operational team capable of supporting business growth and maintaining positive employee relations.
  • Monitor employee performance and address performance and employee-relations matters in accordance with company policies.
  • Manage and adhere to operational budgets, ensuring expenses remain within organizational requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations, company policies, procedures, and industry best practices.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of service providers, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure all work is performed safely, efficiently, and to established quality standards.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and promptly address and resolve service concerns or complaints.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
