About The Position

An established industrial safety and fire protection services organization is seeking a proven operations leader to oversee and grow its regional Inspection, Testing & Repair (ITR) business. This high-impact leadership role combines business acumen with technical expertise in fire protection and life safety systems. The Area Manager is responsible for regional financial performance, operational execution, customer relationships, and team development, with the opportunity to influence growth, profitability, and service excellence.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of relevant professional experience, including leadership responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of fire protection, life safety systems, and inspection, testing, and repair services.
• Experience managing regional or multi-location operations with P&L accountability.
• Understanding of financial performance, operational efficiency, and customer relationship management.
• Knowledge of NFPA standards and OSHA regulations.
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, finance, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

• MBA.
• NICET certification is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own regional revenue, profitability, cash flow, forecasting, and operating results.
• Optimize field operations, resources, equipment, and service delivery across multiple locations.
• Develop teams, elevate performance, and build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Strengthen key accounts and improve customer satisfaction, quality, and service reliability.
• Ensure adherence to OSHA requirements, applicable NFPA standards, and industry regulations.
• Identify operational improvements, optimize regional resources, and support the integration of acquisitions.
