This role is responsible for implementing the business plan for their area of responsibility by communicating goals, managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads to achieve facility goals in production, quality, and safety. The position involves monitoring and managing productivity through business reports, maintaining quality and safety standards by training associates and monitoring compliance, and identifying and resolving associate, customer, and supplier concerns. The Area Manager will also supervise and develop associates and leaders, manage the execution of QA guidelines, procedures, and programs to increase efficiency and maintain inventory integrity, and oversee systems hardware and software maintenance and installation, including troubleshooting with the Information Systems Division (ISD) and vendors.
