The Area Manager - Maintenance is responsible for managing the daily operations of the maintenance department, ensuring the upkeep and functionality of warehouse equipment such as material handling equipment, pneumatic systems, electrical systems, air compressors, ammonia refrigeration equipment, and general building repairs. This role also ensures compliance with state and federal regulations, including OSHA, Hazardous Waste, NFPA, Storm Water, and DOT. The position involves implementing business plans, managing staffing and scheduling, monitoring productivity, maintaining quality and safety standards, and resolving associate, customer, and supplier concerns. Additionally, the Area Manager supervises and develops associates and leaders, manages financial aspects as assigned, and fosters a culture of respect, integrity, and excellence.
