About The Position

The Area Manager is responsible for leading the business development/acquisition activities to drive sales and uncover ways to pull through sales of existing core products amongst Imaging and Therapy devices. Through cross-functional cooperation, the AM will be responsible for the total value creation from the account relationship. This role is a field role with up to 75% travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in capital sales.
  • Strong clinical and technical expertise, with the ability to confidently engage physicians, nurses, clinical staff, department leaders, and supply chain stakeholders to deliver compelling value propositions.
  • Proven sales and relationship management skills, with the ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes.
  • Must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Sales position.
  • Must reside in or within commuting distance to Mississippi, Alabama and Northern Florida.

  • Experience within the Interventional Space is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for driving and growing total revenue across capital, disposables, and service in the assigned territory.
  • Strengthens market position in alignment with company objectives by deepening existing account penetration and developing new target accounts.
  • Demonstrates strong understanding of customer strategy and the competitive market landscape in which Philips IGT operates.
  • Collaborates effectively with cross-functional Philips teams to align on and execute account strategies.
  • Builds and maintains relationships at all levels of customer organizations, establishing executive-level connections with key decision-makers.
  • Develops pricing strategies for disposables and services in partnership with the RSM, and manages key customer relationships across physicians, clinical staff, and administrators.
  • Delivers clinical training and educational support to customers, including dissemination of technical product information.
  • Contributes to the development and execution of regional hospital staff training programs.
  • Effectively manages assigned accounts in terms of driving utilization, customer relationship management, problem resolution, and business planning.
