About The Position
Sodexo is seeking an Area General Manager to direct food operations at several healthcare facilities in Kansas. The Area General Manager will come with a seasoned background as a Director or GM in the food industry and a natural ability to lead and direct projects. Daily travel to different sites required.
Requirements
- Seasoned experience as a GM/Director within food services in a multi-location or large-scale organization
- Project management skills and background
- Demonstrated leadership skills and proven ability to foster culture, retain employees, and develop teams
- Strong financial acumen and technical skills
- A results-driven mindset that enjoys working hands-on to support the team
- Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum Management Experience – 5 years
- Minimum Functional Experience – 5 years
Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee all food and nutrition operations
- Project management oversight
- Manage, develop and engage with subordinate managers, supervisors and frontline employees
- Achieve company and client financial targets and goals
- Develop and maintain client and customer relationships
