About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care is seeking an Area Care Tech (ACT) to support clients when regular staff are unavailable, helping maintain continuity of care across multiple clients and locations. The role is suited to dependable, compassionate caregivers who can adapt to a fast-paced environment and provide quality care in clients’ homes across assigned areas. Care tasks include assisting with daily living and personal care, supporting safe mobility and transfers, preparing meals, performing light housekeeping, and providing companionship and emotional support. The ACT documents care activities, reports changes in clients’ conditions, and responds promptly to client needs. The posting also describes typical caregiver duties such as shopping, errands, transportation, prescription pickup, and assistance with telehealth visits. The position offers competitive pay of $14.00–$18.00 per hour, a $250 monthly bonus, Daily Pay, training, and flexible hours. The local Home Helpers agency is an independently owned and operated franchise.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Active CNA or PCA license preferred, or willingness to become a PCA.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Current auto insurance.
Must pass a background check and drug screening.
Willingness to travel to client homes as needed.
Dependable, compassionate, and able to adapt to a fast-paced care environment.

Nice To Haves

Active CNA or PCA license.
Experience as a caregiver or CNA.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene and grooming.
Support safe mobility and transfers.
Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
