About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care is seeking an Area Care Tech (ACT) to provide in-home support when regular staff are unavailable. The role supports continuity of care for multiple clients across various homes in assigned areas and is suited to dependable, compassionate caregivers who can respond to changing client needs. The position offers flexible scheduling, initial and ongoing training, and a supportive work atmosphere.

Eligible employees may receive a $250 sign-on bonus in two $125 installments, subject to working at least 20 hours per week during each applicable pay period. The posting also advertises a $250 monthly bonus and Daily Pay, with payment the day after work. Compensation is listed as $14.00–$18.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Have current auto insurance.
• Be willing to travel to client homes as needed.
• Be willing to become a PCA if not already licensed.

Nice To Haves

• An active CNA or PCA license is preferred.
• Caregiving or CNA experience is described as suitable for the role.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and activities of daily living.
• Support safe mobility and transfers.
• Perform light housekeeping and prepare meals.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Document care activities and report changes in a client's condition.
• Respond promptly to client needs in different homes across assigned areas.
• Assist with shopping, errands, and transportation.
• Pick up prescriptions and assist with telehealth visits.
