About The Position

MG2, an affiliate of Colliers Engineering & Design, is seeking an Architectural Project Manager specializing in Data Centers to join their Client Programs Market team. This role offers the opportunity to work on global and national building programs, focusing on project and client leadership throughout all phases of design and delivery. The Project Manager will lead project teams through contract management, design, documentation, permitting, and construction administration, while also managing project schedules and financial performance. Externally, the focus is on building strong client relationships, upholding MG2's standard for design excellence, and serving as the primary point of contact for project communications.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture or a related field.
8+ years of experience in a professional architecture or design firm.
Demonstrated experience leading teams through all phases of milestone-based project delivery.
Basic knowledge of architectural contracts and contract execution procedures.
Proficiency with Revit, Auto-CAD, and MS Office.
Demonstrated expertise utilizing collaboration software such as Bluebeam, Miro, and Teams.
Demonstrated professional expertise with Data Centers is required.
Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.

Responsibilities

Manage project teams through all project phases, ensuring deliverables align with the contract, project schedule, and budget, and meet MG2 quality standards.
Ensure required contracts are in place before executing contract deliverables.
Create and maintain accurate milestone-based project schedules and staffing workplans.
Create and maintain detailed Project Charters, including a comprehensive QA/QC plan.
Assist with the development of project proposals and RFP responses.
Continuously monitor project financial status and complete intermediate financial reviews.
Review monthly project invoicing and consultant billing.
Produce weekly project updates, including documentation on contract deliverables, financial updates, contracts, and permitting reports.
Issue weekly project updates to all project stakeholders.
Lead or direct all internal and external project team meetings.
Actively participate in Quality Control procedures, including reviewing externally distributed project deliverables.
Oversee all team activities during Construction Administration, including weekly reviews of RFI and Submittal logs and attendance at project OAC meetings.
Perform detailed review of all site visit reports and punch lists prior to issuance.
Host internal and external project debrief meetings post-construction to identify improvement opportunities.
Initiate project close-out procedures following substantial completion, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations.
Manage internal and external resources to ensure consistent quality and project profitability.
Continuously manage team member performance and provide feedback.
Perform monthly 1:1 check-ins with all internal team members (People Managers Only).
Conduct mid-year and year-end performance reviews (People Managers Only).
