Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and four (4) years in architecture experience covering aspects of building design including survey, design development, construction documents, construction administration or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • Demonstrated experience with Revit
  • U.S. Citizenship is required

Nice To Haves

  • 6+ years of experience
  • Licensed Architect or on the path to licensure
  • Master's degree is a plus
  • Experience working in large and complex projects/programs
  • Experience with government agencies/projects
  • Proficiency in 3d rendering
  • Strong technical skills related to visualization, planning, and architectural design
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm, highly motivated and detail oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to work well with clients, staff and consultants
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as be able to work closely with and collaborate with multidiscipline design team

Responsibilities

  • Manage and prepare detailed construction documents from concept through construction and coordinate with engineers or contractors as needed.
  • Collaborate with project teams to refine designs and incorporate client feedback effectively.
  • Prepare specifications and reports.
  • Under the direction of the Supervising Architect, may independently perform advanced technical assignments of various complexities within approved schedules and budgets.
  • May assist in the training and evaluation of assigned architectural and design/drafting personnel.
  • Have a strong understanding of code compliance, American with Disabilities Act/American Barriers Act and constructability.
