This role involves working with project managers and design teams to help develop all phases of design and construction drawings. Success in this position requires strong communication skills, an aptitude for learning, and active engagement in a collaborative, iterative design process. The designer is expected to seek innovative design solutions and offer unique perspectives on the built environment. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field plus two (2) years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (BArch) or Bachelor of Science in Architecture + Master’s degree in Architecture with 3+ years of relevant experience in design, or demonstrated equivalency of experience
Proficient in Autodesk Revit
Experience with Bluebeam, Navisworks and Dynamo
Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Enscape, Lumion, InDesign, Rhino or other visualization tools or rendering software.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Experience creating architectural plans, elevations, sections details and specifications
Ability to meet quality, schedule and budget expectations
Desire to be mentored and learn
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Detail-oriented and technical, yet experienced enough to see the big picture
Must be a highly motivated self-starter
Strong attention to detail and accuracy of work
Ability to apply passion and enthusiasm for design in a collaborative and progressive team-oriented work environment

Responsibilities

Performing basic architectural/engineering calculations.
Preparing specifications, reports and related data tables.
Maintaining liaison with design and drafting groups.
Preparing, reviewing, and approving drawings as required.
Under the direction of the Supervising Architect, may perform technical assignments of moderate complexity within approved schedules and budgets.
May coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating on an assigned project.
May assist in the training and evaluation of assigned architectural and design/drafting personnel.
