Domain wholly owns Domain Cityscape Architects, a commercial architecture firm established in 1999. For over 25 years, DCA has delivered projects across the U.S. and Canada for commercial clients and leading automotive brands. Domain Cityscape Architects is seeking an Architectural Project Designer to support technical inputs for surveys and construction documentation. This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, and experience producing documentation for commercial projects. The candidate should be receptive to direction and comfortable collaborating within a team environment.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience contributing to construction documents for commercial projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent experience required
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly in drawing coordination
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Architecture preferred
  • Ability to produce renderings in Revit preferred

Responsibilities

  • Produce construction drawings in Revit or AutoCAD based on design sketches, redlines, and direction from senior team members
  • Apply standard architectural details to project documentation
  • Adapt prototype designs to meet project-specific requirements under the guidance of a Project Manager
  • Support Project Managers through research, documentation preparation, and coordination of project details
  • Travel to site surveys as needed with the project team
  • Contact building departments to gather information required for permit submissions
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow, as this role is often a developmental path toward becoming a licensed architect
