This role involves instructing, planning lessons, and ensuring youth accountability within the OSU KidSpirit Archery Youth Program. The Head Instructor is responsible for creating and maintaining a safe and engaging instructional environment that promotes skill mastery and positive youth development. This includes planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, evaluating participant and staff performance, and maintaining constant supervision of youth. The position also requires attention to safety, first aid, documentation, training, equipment management, program promotion, and effective communication with parents and team members. For leadership positions, additional responsibilities include training archery staff, scheduling, delegating projects, and revising standard operating procedures. Lifting up to 35 lbs may be required.
