About The Position

The Arcade Maintenance Technician assists Attractions Managers during scheduled shifts with the repair and maintenance of arcade equipment and helps provide guests with a safe, fun experience. The role includes responding to game malfunctions, maintaining games and arcade areas, addressing guest needs, following safety procedures, and supporting daily operations. This is a full-time position requiring availability for day, night, and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

Assist Attractions Management with operational tasks, guest issues, and customer service opportunities.
Respond promptly to game malfunctions by technician extension or cell phone and help guests in a professional, friendly manner.
Clean games and arcade areas, restock merchandise, and assist with break coverage as needed.
Accurately handle cash and credit transactions when required.
Remain calm and act quickly during emergencies or stressful situations.
Identify maintenance issues affecting safety, service, or equipment performance; repair issues when qualified and collaborate with the Attractions Maintenance Manager on troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
Maintain detailed maintenance records.
Ensure games are functional, correctly positioned, safely plugged in according to fire regulations, and stocked with necessary props; keep pool tables in good working order.
Follow safety standards, report violations, and complete opening and closing procedures, including timely submission of checklists.
Communicate professionally with associates and management, support a positive work environment, and contribute to employee morale.
Remain accessible by phone and/or radio during shifts.
Work independently with minimal supervision, seek out projects, perform deep cleaning, and maintain preventative maintenance.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
