About The Position

The Arcade Attendant ensures the safety of guests and patrons in the arcade and assists management in meeting safety, guest service, and cleanliness standards. The role includes following Retail and Hotel policies and procedures, responding to guest inquiries, providing assistance and information consistent with hotel guidelines, and reporting or fixing game issues such as ticket and card malfunctions. The position requires maintaining attendance, a neat and well-groomed appearance, and the condition and appearance of the arcade location. The attendant may need to adapt to schedule changes and be available during high occupancy and key conventions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to deal with multiple problems requiring initiative and good judgment.
• Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, including using patience, tact, and diplomacy to defuse anger.
• Ability to collect accurate information and resolve management concerns.
• Ability to maintain attendance in conformance with standards.
• Ability to maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
• Ability to maintain the condition and appearance of the location.
• Flexibility and reliability to suit business needs.
• Ability to adapt to schedule changes and be scheduled during high occupancy and key conventions.

Nice To Haves

• Money-handling experience preferred.
• Guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guest service, safety, and cleanliness standards are met in the arcade area.
• Follow Retail and Hotel policies and procedures.
• Respond to guest inquiries and provide assistance, direction, and information consistent with hotel guidelines.
• Report and fix game issues as needed, including ticket and card malfunctions.
