About The Position

This application is not for an immediate opening. By submitting an application, you are applying to take a Civil Service Examination for the opportunity to be placed on an Eligible List for a future opening. The examination is designed to test the objectives of the duties and minimum qualifications of the classification. Arborists perform tree work in all weather conditions, which may include planting, pruning, and removing trees. This work may include tree removal, pruning, planting, and stump grinding. You will use small and large equipment and machinery in a public setting. Standard work hours apply, but there is a willingness to work overtime in emergencies. Other job-related duties are performed as required.

Requirements

• A valid State of Ohio Driver's License is required.
• Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 30 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Green Industry preferred.
