About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Physical Collateral Examination Associate within Commercial Banking. Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com. Territory is based in Southeast Idaho, Northern Utah, and Western Wyoming. You must live in assigned territory for efficiency purposes or be willing to relocate. For this territory, you must live within 30 minutes of one of these cities: Pocatello, Idaho or Brigham City, Utah. In this role, you will: Participate in audits of floor plan inventory at various dealerships and companies Perform physical inspections of dealer inventories and reconcile with business records through effective communications with account managers Review approval requests and ensure completion of all operating and action measures within established timeframes Inspect physical existence of collateral and verify the borrowers' records to determine adherence to approve loan structure Receive direction from supervisor to ensure accurate responses on customer inquires and disputes Reconcile discrepancies with the customer and document details to support final inventory inspection results. Exercise judgment in determining the cause of discrepancies and disposing of any variances Assess condition of collateral with prompt and accurate reporting to confirm the collateralized position Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals Build relationships with customers through setting inspection expectations, answering questions, providing support with payment systems and raising customer growth inquiries to our commercial and portfolio teams. Schedule and route daily travel to customer locations within an assigned geographic area, incorporating overnight stays to reduce travel time for optimum productivity. Performs physical inspections of commercial business inventories to assess their condition to provide prompt and accurate reporting. Covers jobs performing physical inspections of commercial business inventories to assess their condition in order to provide prompt and accurate reporting to confirm their collateralized position. May also be involved in responding to customer inquiries, questions, documentation issues, billing errors, disputes, and program changes.

Requirements

  • 6+ months of Collateral Examination experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
