About The Position

Mercier Consultancy Group is seeking a dedicated professional for the Arabic Speaking Digital Trust and Safety Specialist position in Bulgaria. This role is a vital component of our client's global social media safety operations, tasked with ensuring a secure and positive environment for millions of users across the Arab-speaking world.

Requirements

• Native or fluent Arabic (spoken and written) is mandatory for this role.
• Valid EU passport (mandatory) to facilitate your transition to our team.
• Proven experience in content moderation, social media support, or digital safety analysis.
• Strong cultural awareness of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
• Ability to navigate high-pressure environments while maintaining focus on detail and safety standards.
• Excellent command of English for professional communication within our international office in Sofia.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate social media content to ensure compliance with community guidelines and safety policies.
• Analyze trends in user-generated content to proactively identify and mitigate risks on the platform.
• Apply high-level linguistic expertise in Arabic to moderate complex cultural nuances and safety concerns.
• Collaborate with international teams to refine internal safety protocols for the evolving social media landscape.
• Maintain a high quality of service while meeting productivity targets within the Trust and Safety department.
• Handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and adherence to strict professional ethics.
• Support the integration of new safety features by providing feedback based on daily operational insights.
