Requirements

  • High School Diploma (College degree preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years of Hospital and/or Physician AR Billing Experience Required
  • Experience with claims follow-up and denial management required
  • Experience with Veterans Administration payers preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Outlook
  • Proficiency with Epic preferred
  • Proficiency with various billing systems: Waystar, SSI, Quadax, Availity, Etc.
  • Team player
  • Independent thinker and problem-solver

Nice To Haves

  • College degree preferred
  • Experience with Veterans Administration payers preferred
  • Proficiency with Epic preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage revenue cycle processes end-to-end
  • Identify and resolve issue impacting revenue
  • Collaborate across clinical and financial areas
  • Analyze metrics and reports to enhance performance
  • Ensure adherence to revenue cycle best practices
  • Assist in other duties as assigned
