About The Position

The AR Accountant - Cash Application supports the finance team by helping process customer payments, maintain accurate records, and assist with payment-related questions. This is a great opportunity for someone starting their career in finance or accounting who is detail-oriented and eager to learn.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred
Basic understanding of accounting or financial processes
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good communication skills and willingness to learn
Ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines
Basic Excel skills (data entry, simple formulas)

Nice To Haves

Internship or coursework related to accounting or finance
Familiarity with tools like NetSuite, Stripe, or Salesforce is helpful but not required
Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment

Responsibilities

Review and help process daily customer payments, including researching unapplied payments
Assist with recording Stripe payouts in NetSuite and matching them to the correct invoices
Support the application of bulk partner payments to customer accounts
Help set up customer and vendor payments, including verifying banking details for ACH requests
Process manual payments by following established procedures and guidelines
Respond to complex customer questions about payments
Assist with handling payment disputes
Work with finance and sales teams to help identify and apply customer payments to open accounts.
