About The Position

The Cash Application Specialist will play a key role in posting customer payments in a timely manner as well as keeping excellent records of payments received for audit purposes. Requirements

  • Knowledge of Basic Accounting.
  • Accounts Receivable knowledge/experience a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and time management.
  • Strong work ethic and self-discipline.
  • Experience with Oracle and GetPaid a plus but not required.
  • Knowledge of MS Excel (V-Lookups, pivot tables).
  • Commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Pull daily cash activity from bank accounts.
  • Timely allocation based on remittance information.
  • Assist collectors on account reconciliations.
  • Coordinate AP/AR Settlements between Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
  • Monitor and investigate unapplied payments, coordinate application with client/collectors.
  • Monitor email inboxes for remittance and inquiries daily.
  • Perform daily and weekly reconciliations between the bank, GetPaid, and Oracle reports.
  • Daily review and completion of JIRA tickets related to AR.
  • Respond to SOX and external auditors’ requests on time and provide backup when required.
  • Responsible for accurately reconciling and loading payments received into TTD’s platform.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure bank accounts are reconciled at the end of each month.
  • Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Accounts Receivable Department.
  • Must communicate & follow up effectively with other departments to ensure a great customer experience.
  • Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Meet defined department goals and activity metrics.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and recommendations.
